Healthcare Chair

Function: The Healthcare Committee is currently focused on policy related to creating and training the workforce for the many health-rated jobs that are anticipated in the Eastern Metro area. With the growth of the University Hospital and the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus, The Children’s Hospital and future growth of a new Veteran’s Hospital as well as continued growth on the three campuses of Health One’s Medical Center of Aurora and other related commercial health organizations, the need for specialty education in health related fields continues to grow. The committee also tracks healthcare policy at every level and produces a Healthcare White Paper reflecting The Chamber’s position on critical health related issues.
