Did you know there are more than 40,000 LGBTQ+ residents living in Aurora, CO?

At the May 2017 Diversity and Inclusion Council meeting, Dustin Krier, Vice President of PFLAG Denver (Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays) talked about demographics and important Marketing Trends that can help businesses be more inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community.  Dustin talked about different ways one can identify themselves and that there are over 80 flags that represent the LGBTQ+ community.

Meeting attendees found it intriguing to learn what this population spends most of their money on, and what values are most important to this community. Dustin also discussed topics including health risks, transgender population, travel preference, and community media consumption.
