Welcome to the Transportation Committee!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Transportation Committee is to share information about transportation issues and initiatives; promoting discussion and involvement to enhance regional connectivity, economic development, and business success.

Purpose

The Transportation committee reviews and monitors transportation-related issues that impact the business community and the economy. It serves as a platform for collaboration among industry professionals, government agencies, and elected officials to ensure efficient and sustainable transportation and infrastructure solutions.

Industry experts have presented about significant projects and plans, including:

  • City of Aurora transportation
  • Centennial Airport
  • Lone Tree, Greenwood Village and Centennial transportation
  • Transportation around Buckley Space Force Base
  • Colorado Air and Space Port
  • E-470
  • RTD and Rail
  • Denver International Airport
  • Denver Regional Council of Governments
  • Arapahoe and Adams County transportation
  • Colorado Department of Transportation
  • Micromobility

The Committee also follows and reports on bills pertaining to transportation issues in the State Legislature

The Transportation committee provides opportunities for members to:

  • Stay informed on key transportation projects, funding, and policies
  • Advocate for infrastructure investments that benefit businesses
  • Collaborate with government officials, transportation agencies, and industry leaders
  • Influence regional mobility solutions and sustainability efforts
  • Provide input on critical transportation challenges affecting the economy
