Buckley Welcome & Resource Page

Welcome to the Buckley Welcome & Resource Hub — your go-to connection for the Greater Buckley Region and the communities that support it. Whether you're preparing to PCS into Buckley Space Force Base, already living nearby, transitioning out of active duty, or choosing Colorado as your forever home — this page gathers the key local resources you’ll need: housing, schools, utilities, medical care, registration, employment and community engagement.

When orders change, your mission evolves, or retirement beckons — you’ll also find tools to plan your next move with confidence, explore education and career pathways, and engage with the veteran and military-friendly community here in Colorado.

Recognized as a Great American Defense Community

In 2025, the Buckley region was officially designated a Great American Defense Community by the Association of Defense Communities — a national recognition of our region’s outstanding support to service members, veterans, and their families. This honor reflects the collective efforts of the Buckley Regional Military Affairs Council (BRMAC), local government, schools, businesses, and organizations across the region who are proud to stand behind the mission and the people of Buckley Space Force Base.
