2025

Recognized as a Great American Defense Community

In 2025, the Buckley region was officially designated a Great American Defense Community by the Association of Defense Communities — a national recognition of our region's outstanding support to service members, veterans, and their families. This honor reflects the collective efforts of the Buckley Regional Military Affairs Council (BRMAC), local government, schools, businesses, and organizations across the region who are proud to stand behind the mission and the people of Buckley Space Force Base.
