Diamond & Dogtags is a one-day military families softball event built around connection, camaraderie, and community. The goal is simple: create a welcoming environment where Colorado's military-connected communities can come together for a day that feels both competitive and family-centered.
Four teams. Three games. One day. Participants may include service members, spouses, and military family members representing installations and military communities from across the Front Range — competing for bragging rights and a donation to their base's spouse support organization.
At its core, the event reflects a broader commitment to supporting military families — including challenges like food security that continue to impact many across the force. Between rounds, the day pauses for a lunch and family activity break, including a casual kickball game for children while teams reset.
Team participation is intended to reflect military-connected communities and families from across Colorado's Front Range.
★ Schedule subject to change as teams, timing, and final logistics are confirmed.
Diamond & Dogtags is being organized through a coalition of military-connected organizations and community partners who believe in creating meaningful opportunities for military families to connect across the region. Tournament winnings go directly to spouse support organizations at participating installations.
Registration for both team participation and event attendance includes a liability waiver. Full waiver terms are presented within the registration form.
Teams representing military installations from across Colorado's Front Range are invited to register. The tournament accommodates four teams total. If more teams register than spots available, final selections will be made by August 3, 2026.
