Learn how to update content on your page using short, focused videos — then practice in a safe environment before making live changes.

Start with the Walkthrough

See the full process first on a real page from logging in to publishing.

Then Practice by Task

Use the shorter videos and sandbox pages to repeat the exact action you need.

Build Confidence First

Practice before touching a live page whenever possible.

The goal is not for everyone to become an HTML expert. The goal is to make routine content updates confidently, carefully, and consistently inside sections that already exist.

How to Begin

Start Every Session the Same Way

First, log in to ChamberMaster. Then go to the live website and click the Edit aurorachamber.org button in the top right-hand corner, just like shown in the walkthrough video.

Once that is active, your editing capability carries across the web browser during that session. From there, you can open the relevant practice page and work from that sandbox environment.

If You Think You Broke Something, Don’t Panic...Just Don't Publish

On a practice page or a live page, if something doesn’t look right, do not publish it. When you click Done, choose Discard instead of saving or publishing. That lets you back out of the changes without keeping them.

Simple Process

How to Make Any Update

Every routine update should follow the same process.

1

Enter Edit Mode

Log in to ChamberMaster, then click Edit aurorachamber.org on the live site.

2

Find the Section

Use the Find function inside the HTML editor to locate the exact area you need.

3

Test a Small Change

Make one very small update first so you know you are in the right place.

4

Save, Publish, Verify

Then make the real update, publish, and confirm it looks correct on the page.

Training Videos

Watch the Walkthrough, Then Practice by Task

Start with the full walkthrough first. Then use the shorter videos tied to each practice page to rehearse one action at a time.
