COMMUNITY
Class members learn about the diverse nature of our community. Participation provides a hands-on learning experience about the services and organizations in our community dedicated to the needs of area residents.

POLICE
Class members learn about and experience programs and activities of the Aurora Police Department in a training session environment.

EDUCATION
This session provides information about the educational offerings in Aurora, including public schools, and institutions of higher education.

HEALTHCARE
This session educates class members about local and national health care industry issues and trends that impact our community and influence business and personal decisions related to health.

CITY OF AURORA
Class members are introduced to many of the organizations within the City of Aurora’s complex economy, growing infrastructure, and government structure.

MEDIA
Class members learn about the workings of the media, including identifying what makes a story newsworthy; how to “pitch” a news story, and how a television news studio operates.

MILITARY
A jam-packed day including an update on the current status of the military in Aurora, and what they are doing in the community and for the Country.

FIRE
Class members “practice” fire-fighting techniques at the Fire Academy Drill Ground, and learn about new fire-fighting techniques, and the myriad of services provided by the fire service.
