Sue Klaus with Omada7 and Career Success Pathways hosted the June Diversity and Inclusion Council meeting with an effective way to meet several new people in a limited amount of time, through Speed Networking! Speed networking helps to build new relationships while also teaching a person how to actively listen and practice telling their own story. With five minutes to talk about themselves, by the 3rd rotation, most attendees felt confident in telling their story.
Attendees of the Council spent the last ten minutes exchanging business cards with those they weren’t able to sit down during speed networking. By the end of the meeting, there were many connections made and the room was filled with chatter and laughter.
