What is the CELL? – Women in Business / Sept. 27, 2016

The CELL – or Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab – is dedicated to the prevention of terrorism through education, empowerment, and engagement. On September 27, Jordan Clark, Assistant Director of The CELL presented at the Women in Business meeting, providing a comprehensive look at the threat of terrorism and how individuals can play a role in the prevention of terrorism – ultimately enhancing public safety. As a nonprofit, nonpartisan institution established in 2008, the CELL’s one-of-a-kind exhibit across from the Denver Art Museum, and its renowned speaker series and training initiative, provide education about today’s evolving threats and the most effective policies to counter them.

Women in Business serves as a voice for all women in business, acting as an advocate on issues that affect their professional growth and long-term economic vitality. Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, 11:30 am-1 pm.
