If you want to know what’s going on in Economic Development in the Eastern Metro Area, Chamber President and CEO Kevin Hougen can definitely fill you in.
At the October 2 Business for the Arts meeting, Hougen shared his in-depth presentation, covering agriculture, tourism, aerospace, bioscience, healthcare, financial services, air transportation, education, and energy.
Hougen talked about the $900 million impact of Buckley AFB, the $800 million Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center – scheduled to open late 2018, healthcare and bioscience, and the $26 billion DEN economic engine and Aerotropolis – to name just a few, emphasizing the thousands of jobs associated with all of these industries.
It’s a lot to squeeze into an hour, but the presentation provides a great overview of the economic power of the Eastern Metro Area.
