E-470 is a 47 mile, all-electronic toll road that can take travelers through eight jurisdictions. This user-financed toll road currently accommodates 31,300 vehicles per day, with an estimated 56,300 per day by 2040.

The Executive Director of the E-470 Public Highway Authority brought Transportation committee members up-to-date on E-470 traffic trends, how toll revenues are used, recent initiatives including the Stephen D. Hogan Parkway extension and freezing Express Toll rates, multi-use trail connections, the Quincy ramp relocation, and the road widening of Quincy to I-70. The presentation was followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art facility.
